Hassan
Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

I build and run reliable, secure production infrastructure on AWS: EKS and ECS workloads, Terraform-managed environments and automated CI/CD pipelines that replace manual deployments. Based in Lahore, Pakistan.

About

What I do

☁️

Cloud on AWS

Design, run and secure production workloads on EC2, ECS and EKS, from networking to access control.

☸️

Kubernetes on EKS

Scalable, self-healing workloads with autoscaling and health-checked rollouts.

πŸ—οΈ

Infrastructure as Code

Terraform-defined environments that are reproducible, reviewable and version-controlled.

πŸš€

CI/CD automation

Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline flows that build, test and ship every change the same way.

Projects

Production platforms I designed, deployed and operate on AWS.

Palsome: social media platform

EKS
EKSKubernetesFFmpegTerraformCodePipeline
Problem: A video-heavy social platform needs transcoding that keeps up with uploads without slowing the app.
What I did: Built an FFmpeg video-processing pipeline as scalable workloads on EKS, separate from the web tier, provisioned with Terraform and released through automated pipelines.
Result: Video processing that scales with demand and recovers on its own.

Yap: digital wallet app

Flagship Β· ECS
ECSFinTechTerraformIAMDatadog
Problem: A digital wallet is a large, always-on financial product that needs high availability, strict access control and constant visibility.
What I did: Ran the platform on Amazon ECS with locked-down networking, least-privilege IAM, health-checked services, Terraform-managed infrastructure and Datadog monitoring with alerting.
Result: A secure, resilient and observable payments platform, my largest project at TRZ Technologies.

CogniArt: AI image generation

ECS
ECSDockerAITerraform
Problem: Image generation is compute-hungry and traffic is bursty.
What I did: Containerized the application and ran it on Amazon ECS with service auto scaling and automated deployments.
Result: A stable AI service that grows and shrinks with load.

GiftPoke: gifting platform

AWS
LaravelDockernginxHTTPS
Problem: Releases needed to be consistent and safe to repeat.
What I did: Containerized the Laravel application and ran it in Docker behind nginx with HTTPS on AWS, with scripted deployments.
Result: A predictable release process and a monitored production site.

Mink: clothing brand store

EC2
EC2nginxHTTPSAnsible
What I did: Hosted the e-commerce site on EC2 behind nginx with HTTPS, with servers configured through Ansible so they can be rebuilt the same way every time.
Platform engineering

How I run production

The same practices sit behind every project above.

πŸ“ˆ

Auto scaling

Horizontal Pod Autoscaling on EKS and service scaling on ECS add capacity under load and release it after.

🩺

Self healing

Liveness and readiness probes restart failed containers and keep traffic away from unhealthy ones.

πŸ—οΈ

Terraform IaC

VPCs, clusters, roles and services are defined in code, reviewed in Git and applied from pipelines.

CI/CD pipeline

Every change follows the same automated path from commit to production.

Observability

See everything in production

Metrics, logs, traces and alerts so problems are caught before users notice them.

🐢

Datadog

My main monitoring platform across EKS, ECS and EC2. The Datadog Agent collects infrastructure and container metrics, and I use it as one place for dashboards, logs, traces and alerts.

  • Agent on hosts & containers
  • Kubernetes & ECS monitoring
  • APM & tracing
  • Log management
  • Custom dashboards
  • Monitors & alerts
  • AWS integration
  • Uptime checks
πŸ”₯

Prometheus

Scrapes metrics from services and clusters, with alert rules for the conditions that matter.

πŸ–₯️

Node Exporter

Host-level CPU, memory, disk and network metrics from every Linux server.

☁️

CloudWatch

AWS-native metrics, logs and alarms for EC2, ECS and EKS, wired to notifications.

πŸ“Š

Grafana

Dashboards over Prometheus and CloudWatch so the whole team can read system health at a glance.

How the signals flow

From servers and containers to dashboards and alerts.
